This Privacy Policy explains how Sorion, Inc. ("Sorion," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit sorion.app, join the waitlist, or use the Sorion dashboard and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you join the waitlist or create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any billing details processed on our behalf by our payment processor, Whop, Inc.

Connected platform data.When you connect TikTok, Instagram, or another supported platform, we receive data made available through that platform's official API — such as video metadata, captions, thumbnails, publish times, and performance metrics (views, retention, likes, comments, saves, and shares). We do not receive your platform password.

Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages viewed, features used, timestamps, browser type, and device and log information (such as IP address).

Communications. If you contact us for support or feedback, we retain the content of that communication and our responses.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including your dashboard, analytics, and Companion;
• Build and update your private "Creator Memory" — a per-account profile of patterns in your content (hooks, pacing, posting times, and similar signals) used to personalize recommendations for your account only;
• Process payments and manage your subscription and waitlist status;
• Send you service notices, product updates, and, where you have opted in, marketing communications;
• Monitor, secure, and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues and preventing abuse;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. AI Processing and Model Training

Sorion uses machine learning models, including third-party large language model providers, to generate analytics and AI Output for your account. Your connected platform data and Creator Memory are used to personalize output for you and are not used to train models that are shared with, or that generate output for, other Sorion customers. Where we use a third-party AI provider to process a request, that provider processes the data solely to return a response to us and does not retain it for its own model training, consistent with our agreements with those providers.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as Whop (payment processing), cloud hosting providers, AI model providers, and analytics or customer-support tooling, each bound by contractual confidentiality and data-use restrictions;
• Connected platforms(TikTok, Instagram) to the extent necessary to retrieve the data you've authorized us to access;
• Legal and safety purposes, where required to comply with law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sorion, our users, or the public;
• Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and connected platform data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to allow you to reactivate, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data at any time as described in Section 7.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand aggregate usage of the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or update your personal information;
• Request deletion of your personal information;
• Disconnect a connected platform at any time from your account settings, which stops further data collection from that platform;
• Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message;
• Request a portable copy of the data you provided to us.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Sorion is based in the United States, and information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers of personal data out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. The "Effective" date above reflects the last update.
